This time of year blueberries are in abundance.  This is an easy tart to make and would be a hit at any ‘bring a plate’ occasion.

ingredients…

1 sheet of puff pastry

1 punt of blueberries

1 tablespoon of Sugar

Cream to serve

steps…

1. Defrost puff pastry

2. Preheat oven to 190°C

3. Place pastry on lined oven tray

4. Arrange blueberries in middle of pastry

5. Gently fold in edges of pastry to make a tart – this is meant to be rough and rustic! (At this stage tart can be placed into the fridge for up to 6hrs)

6. Sprinkle sugar over the top of blueberries

7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until pastry is puffed and golden

8. Allow to sit for 10 minutes and serve warm with cream
